While We Wait
In Matthew 6, Jesus teaches “do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth … but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven.” While we eagerly await the coming of the day of the Lord and anticipate being in the presence of Christ the King in His kingdom, we have a responsibility to remain diligent and faithful in our walk with Him. We must continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to truly have hope for tomorrow which brings peace for today. This is the final message of our series “The Kingdom of God” and will also wrap up our study in 2 Peter.
