CloseAs Jesus calls His followers to not get caught up in the world of materialism, He knows that trust in our Heavenly Father's provision is paramount. Being anxious about whether we will have enough can cause us to focus less on living a God-ward life. In this passage, Jesus is assuring His followers that if they have the right priorities, then God will provide for their basic needs.
