As we start our journey through Advent together, our first stop is to look at the only four women who are mentioned in Jesus' family tree in Matthew chapter one. It was unusual to mention women in the genealogical records in the time the Bible was written. There must be an important reason for their inclusion in Matthew's list. These four women's stories and their inclusion in Jesus' family line teach us so much about the grace of God.
