Christian Life And Service Seminars
These seminars are the educational ministry of Darby Creek. C.L.A.S.S. is comprised of four individual seminars designed to be taken in order. This basic discovery series is designed to help you discover and develop your relationship with God. We believe that as you complete each class you will grow in your understanding of God's will and wonderful plan for your life. In addition to these four basic classes, in the future we will be offering other classes that go more in-depth in each of the four levels:
100 level - knowing Christ
200 level - growing in Christ
300 level - serving Christ
400 level - sharing Christ
C.L.A.S.S. 101 - Discovering Darby Creek Membership This class is designed to answer questions most newcomers have regarding our church. It covers salvation, baptism, communion, along with the purposes, strategy, structure and affiliations of Darby Creek. Membership requirements, benefits, and responsibilities are explained.
C.L.A.S.S. 201 - Discovering Spiritual Maturity The second class of Darby Creek’s basic classes focuses on the four basic habits every Christian needs to grow to spiritual maturity: Time in God’s Word, Prayer, Giving, and Fellowship. You’ll discover the what, why, when, and how of these four habits. We believe that these habits are to be enjoyed rather than endured! Come discover how! C.L.A.S.S. 301 - Discovering My Ministry
The goal of this class is that you will begin to discover how God has uniquely designed you for ministry in His church. You’ll begin the journey of learning your God given Passion, Spiritual Gift(s), & Personal Style. It is God’s desire for every Christian to discover, develop and use their God-given gifts, talents, & abilities. C.L.A.S.S. 401 - Discovering My Life Mission
The fourth class in the basic series focuses on discovering the biblical basis and how-to’s of sharing your faith with others. Learn how to communicate your faith in a style that’s personal and natural. Discover how to respond to the most common objections to Christianity.
